That's silly! The P60 wasn't built only for BV! There are a lot of other P60 phones from other manufacturers - here a list as example: https://www.kimovil.com/de/liste-smartphones-nach-prozessor/mediatek-helio-p40-mt6671 and a lot of them are running Android 9 (Pie) - here also an example for one ot...

My provider supports Wifi calling - I checked some months ago! And on this forum an admin confirmed the phone is capable of this function... But I do not find anything in the settings to activare it!  

The main reason for me to buy the BV9600pro in Nov. 2018 was the "planned" upgrade to 9.0 Pie!!!  I also read something about "Project Treble" where supported devices can get faster Android OS upgrades... As my (old) the BV9600pro supports Treble, I expected to get upgrade to Pie...

Did you unlock the 9600? Did you use USB or Bluetooth to connect? 

Yes, would be perfect!!!   

Try to make sure your 5GHz and 2.4GHz networks have unique SSID's so you can choose which one to connect to. Not always easy using a mesh router. My bv9600pro works perfectly with the same SSID for both 2.4 and 5GHz networks...  Incredibel - my post from 4 months ago was just approved by a moderato...

Upgrade to Pie was the main reason for me to buy bv9600pro!!!

A friend of mine bought a samsung (Galaxy-A7) with Android 8.0 installed... After creating a new google account and activating it, he got an automatic update to Pie 9.0 over night! Without any complications...
