Official firmware files for flashing have been requested to the tech team. Such files will be posted in the ROM download forum subsection as soon as they get released. This has been the default answer for about a year now.... They obviously have the firmware, how many months(years?) does it take to...

So... it turns out it was the preinstalled fota malware causing this... Successfully removed the malware using adb BV9500Pro:/ $ pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.adups.fota Success BV9500Pro:/ $ pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.adups.fota.sysoper Success but that now requires me to manually flash updates......

Can som admin explain this? Everytime someone asks for the OTA update or direct download link etc, they are told to just wait and it will update... But I'm pretty sure the update is not available on an XXX site... so we could wait forever Or is there some other explanation for it trying to access ad...
