Re: Is there a date scheduled for the next update?

You don't seem to be familiar with how the rugged phone industry works. Here are a few observations I've made from my research: ⋅ If you buy a rugged phone, the O/S version will never be updated. Some companies promise an update when the phone is first released, but they will never follow ...

Re: BV9700 Pro screen stopped working

Well, I've contacted Blackview through their after sales contact page and we'll see where it goes from here. But I'm pretty much done with rugged phones. All of the ones I've had had weird annoying little problems that never got fixed.  No O/S upgrades beyond what they were shipped with, and few sec...

BV9700 Pro screen stopped working

The screen on my BV9700 Pro suddenly went blank. The backlight still comes on, just nothing can be seen on it. Still reboots and charges but no startup logo and nothing on screen when it finishes booting.

How do I go about sending it in for repair/replacement?

Re: BV9800 Pro Specs

When the  BV9800/Pro was first announced it was stated it would have a Helio P90 processor. Many web pages indicating this can still be found and in this thread also.  However, Blackview's own web site and many other phone specification sites now only mention the Helio P70.  Was there a reason the p...

Re: Slow wireless charging

All are QC 3.0, some are Mediatek Pump Express 3.0. The phone display usually says "charging slowly" if the adapter doesn't support fast charging. Anyway, my BV9600 Pro on the same pads charges quickly, the BV9700 doesn't.

Re: Slow wireless charging

I have no problem with wireless charging so far. From 25 % to 100 % in about 3,5 hours. Perhaps the Blackview charging pad is the problem and not the phone? I use a 10 W Anker charging stand together with an Ugreen 36 W QuickCharge 3.0 power supply. The phone states "Charging fast". It al...

Re: BV9500 Plus

I don't know what your experience with the various brands of rugged phones is, but it's extremely rare that a company will upgrade a phones O/S beyond that which it was shipped with. It's also rare that a released rugged phone will get security updates. AGM, Doogee, Ulefone, CAT, Blackview, they all...

Re: bv9500 pro saying is rooted in apps when it is not

You may get that warning if the bootloader is unlocked, even if it isn't rooted. Do you get an Orange alert warning and a 5 second delay when starting? If not then the bootloader is locked and ok, and the problem lies elsewhere.

Re: Slow motion video recording

Where did you hear the BV9700 Pro has slow motion video recording? I've never senn it advertised or mentioned in the specs. As far as I know, the phone does not have that capability.
