I did a factory reset, and still, 2018 is not available. I have 1.0-20171102_20171215-1210 and it says it is currently up to date. How can I get the new ROM?

Well I tried this and it has no effect. I went into Battery Optimization, and changed the Podcast app to "not optmized", and the behavior is the same. Playback changes to Stopped, every 30 seconds or so. Will the new ROM address this?

My S8 said OTA Update for 20180122-1757 Available! So I tried the update. It said "Failed". Now the update is no longer available. That is probably a fallback feature of the OTA system. Will there be a new OTA deployed?
