How to get apps notification on apps icon?

Sorry this might be a silly question, as im an apple user, this is my 1st time trying out with android and it was Blackview BV9000pro, I notice my apps dont have notification on the app icon, on lock screen yes... ontop the hone screen also have small icon... but on the app icon itself, dont have......
