That is not a valid response. There is nothing wrong with the phone except Blackview's own software that broke the phone. if you don't completely drain your battery in the mean time, you can perform a firmware downgrade and get back to a perfectly working device. Or you can wait for the next OTA up...

I'll give it a try. I had a computer shop for many years and I've repaired laptops and cell phones for many years !! I only asked about a photo or teardown video as TOO much information is never a bad thing !! Thanx all. I will let you know what the results are. BTW: I still love this phone !!!!!!!

So I dropped my phone 6 inches, and now the front camera wont work. In the camera app, the option is grayed out.

I wonder if the camera is just unplugged??

I had the same problems for months. Found out it worked flawlessly when I removed all cards from the phone. So if you have a memory card in the back, open the cover and remove it before you do the updates. Might just help !!
