Why should we, the customers believe you on this malware issue, when you have proven that you cannot be trusted on the Oreo release date?

I agree with the customers statement. The situation is quite clear; your tech team does not deliver after you sent out an dysfunctional Oreo. That caused a lot of grief for your customers. Your standard answer to problems used to be; Factory reset. Now it is; Forwarded to tech team. As I have indica...

As a conclusion to the information given in this forum; I will wait till a functional oreo is released. This first version should be filed under "experimental" and avoided at all cost!

Did exactly the same, with the SD card installed, same result: verify fails after 20 sec.

Hi.
Also the second method fails. After fresh download, the update fails to verify after 22.1 seconds. This happens to two files and with different location on SD card. Downloaded using Mega app. See that one other user also has a no-go.

Hi.
I performed a local install of the Android 8.0 released today. Yes i did perform a Factory reset. Result is : system reports Android 7.0, same version of firmware as before i started!
A lot of work for no use!
