Same issue, i charged normally by last 3 weeks, but now the bv won't charging anymore. i cannot try another type-c usb cable because yours is not STANDARD (so stupid!). the phone had a lot of problems from the beginning i think with 24% charging power left, this will be the last...my huawei in 4 yea...

Also for me no volume at all coming from ear speaker.
it works with speakerphone or earphones.
also *#96... procedure don't have any effect

EDIT:
after several tests, pressing the top of mobile in the earspeaker zone, the sound works. it's a hardware failure?
