I just purchase a new one yesterday with android 7 and I have the same issue.

I'm charging the phone with the factory charger.

And with a voltage tester I see that the charging voltage it isn't stable.
From 5v go up to 7v, 9v then 12v and after that step to 5v. This is the charging cycle.
