This GPS time error is annoying, but embarrassing for me because I recommended your otherwise excellent phone to many in our sporting community of hang gliding. Good news (sort of)
Factory reset cured the issue (without reverting Android version). UTC time is now correct (one hour behind my local London time as we are 1 hour ahead in summer).

Phil, is this exactly what you have on your phone? if so then I will first try a factory reset on android 7.

If you set the time zone correctly, and set to get time from GPS rather than network, my time is 1 hour fast. if you use an app (such as GPS status) to see the UTC time from the GPS system directly you see that the UTC time is one hour fast. dual sim limited functionality

I am in australia with my uk sim roaming in slot1, and a local prepaid telstra sim in slot2. I want a combination where the phone uses the uk sim for data, but sends sms and calls on the local telstra sim. But if i switch data off on the telstra sim (whichever way round I put the sims in the slots) ...
