Re: Official way to rollback to Android 6

Yes, after rollback, need to re-install all the apps, contacts, bookmark, etc. Also, my phone failed to recognize my sim card, i.e. failed to make call. I performed "factory data reset" once and then it recovered. Now, my phone works fine with Android 6.0.

Re: Which would you prefer, BV7000 Pro or BV7000?

I prefer BV7000 pro. Before I buy it, I need to know how to attach security strap (安全卦繩) since I'll use it in watersports. I don't use NFC.

Re: Phone restarting over and over

I experienced similar continuous-rebooting (with Android 7.0 only) when I'm in Hong Kong Science Park with WIFI turned on. In other places, this problem doesn't happen. I suspect there is some kind of WIFI protocol not handled by the phone WIFI driver.

Re: Can BV7000 attach string 卦繩 ?

Hi, I'm also wondering how to attach security strap to BV7000. I'm using BV6000, which has a bar at the bottom of the phone for us to attach the strap or string. Admin, could you show how to attach it for BV7000?

Re: Official way to rollback to Android 6

Thanks admin. I successfully rolled back to Android 6. The problem of continuous self-rebooting in Hong Kong Science Park with WIFI on disappeared. Battery consumption is normal. Everything is back to normal now.

Re: Update 20170223

I finally can flash the ROM of http://www.needrom.com/download/blackview-bv6000-4/ without error. In doing this, I have to install Mediatek USB VCOM Driver as well as the latest FlashTool. Also, the sequence of "pressing DOWNLOAD" then "Connect USB cable" is essential. If this is...

Re: Update 20170223

I tried flash_tool.exe (SP_Flash_Tool_exe_Windows_v5.1648.00.000) on Windows 7 PC. Loaded the file MT6755_Android_scatter.txt. Then connect the BV6000 to a USB port of PC. Then press Download. There is no progress. Nothing changed to my phone.

Re: Update 20170223

Installed update 20170223, same WIFI problem as before, i.e. continuous self-rebooting in Hong Kong Science Park when WIFI is ON.
