The native alarm and a third party alarm don't (go off) /wake the phone.

i am facing an issue in using front cam on video call on apps like Skype and Facebook its like the camera looses all ability to adjust to light ,it is almost dark.black But its ok for selfies using stock camera. How do I fix it?
