firmware bin file

Hi, Is it possible to get the firmware as a binary file that can be loaded via SD card?

Thanks,

Re: Tutorial for the whole process of flashing ROM

OK but the ZIP file only has an ELF. Where can I download the BIN file to flash?

Re: Tutorial for the whole process of flashing ROM

(not sure if my previous reply was rejected)

I'm trying to update the firmware but the USB connection is not working.

Rather than struggle with the USB connection I'd prefer a firmware bin file that I can load onto the SD card.

Thanks,

No, I'm trying to update the firmware but I'd rather use a bin file on an SD card than troubleshoot a USB connection.

Re: Tutorial for the whole process of flashing ROM

Hi, After a couple of hours I'm not having any luck with this. The camera is just not recognised - perhaps a Win 8.1 64 issue? On the camera I get 'USB connecting...' and on Win I get 'USB is not recognised' despite installing the driver in legacy mode without signature. I am using a black usb cable...
