In the Intercom app, please create a new digital channel in any location.  Just start to, no need to actually save the channel.
I'm curious to know if there is an option for setting up a "time slot" with digital channels or not.  This would likely be in a "Group" contact type, or possibly "Person" and "all" include it too.
Please let me know.  This would be the only reason I'd want to update my phone at this point because it's actually working acceptably well for me at this time.

I did not seize any URL. When "Adblock" is enabled in the router and I click on update, the BV9500Pro displays "No network available (Unable to resolve host" fota server ". No address associated with hostname) or sometimes" fota5.xxx.com/ ".
In addition, during the OTA update, no URL can be entered. The smartphone automatically updates itself to "Wi-Fi" or returns an error message.
When I disable "Adblock", successful OTA update.

Dear friend, Unfortunately not, no time slot capability at this time.(I tried all : Group contact, person or  all..)
I think the intercom capability is only 12.5khz Bandwith, so It only works without time slot.   Not sure the intercom hardware is designed  for 6.25khz bandwith...... 
For information, I can have QSO  beetween BV9500pro and  MD380 in digital mode !

Guys if you still have issue on updating your phone, please set phone's language in English and try again.

I don't get any update at all, now I know why:

The App "System Update" tries to reach following URL:
https://fota5p.adups.com/

But I just get "SSL Handshake timed out"
Any solution for this?

now it looks like the Network error isn`t there but still as before the OTA update is not availible for my BV9500
The Version on my BV9500 is
BV_BV9500_V1.0_20180814_20180926-2247
I try to change the language but it doesn`t help.
I checked the thread here but I couldn´t find a way to update the BV9500.
The question again, how can I update the smartphone to the latest availible firmware?

Website seems to work now and tada, update found on phone.
Now testing and praying for it to work... ;)

As stated many times, OTA updates don't reach every user at the same time, so you'll have to..... wait!

These steps may help your phone getting updated:

1) Remove SIMs and MicroSD cards from your phone.

2) Perform a factory reset

3) Set phone language in English

4) Connect to WIFI networks (so disable data connection)
