Hello. I've got the same problem in my two BV6800Pro phones. I understood than you've already tracked it and fixing bugs takes a lot of time. But in the meanwhile you're developing new models our phones are still out of order, and you provide not solution to the issues this units got.

Dear blackview moderator,
I also have this focus issue and by having a look on the web it is a very common problem.
We very well know that fixing the software may take time, but what happens if the fix comes after warranty expiration. Probably, such a macro and spread issue should have been dealt in pre-sale phase.
This is not a little glitch. We are talking about a problem that prevents the user to take pictures.
Therefore we should at least know when Blackview plans to release the update.

Update will come in a near future, but we can't give an ETA for that.

The solution and comments:
First the solution: in the next video ... in minute 6:07 you can see the easy process for solve:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0FknexwDLQAnd my suggestion is install Camera MX, was the better option for me.. but I suppose that maybe exist better... but with this the camera work better with anothers applications.Comments:
I had the problem... seach and seach... no one of blackview say the solution... after months...

I want return the smartphone... but pay for back is more expensive that smartphone for me... 200 dollars... maybe you have the same problem... and don´t want lose money...
I now find this solution... I´m very happy...
Now is ok... but I´m testing the solution, please BlackView say a programmer make a automatic clean of cache, each time that the camera is open.... because now is using data of olds photos.
A lot of months to say that need time...

Now I´m searching solutions to 1 sim card + 1 memory micro sd ... don´t work join... I suppose that I will be find the solution before someone oficial solution

Dear Blackview moderator,
I agree with the remarks made by MonteChristian.
Blackview must react more effectively on this bug because it is redibitory: Personally, I would not hold rigor to have this problem if it is resolved more quickly, but if it is not the case I would see the competitors to the future and I would let him know around me!
Indeed, this problem is major for this type of equipment!
The camera is one of the important criteria for choosing such a phone. I am very embarrassed by this bug on a daily basis (sports activities, and professional activities in THALES).
Thanks to Blackview for speeding up their intervention, and signaling to their customers that it will be taken care of outside the warranty period, as it is the fair honesty expected of these customers.
cordially

Guys you can also try the Opencamera App, definitely better and with less bugs than the stock one!
