What i can say about is:
during last 10 months i owned this phone, i dropped it in several conditions, i even (accidentally) hurled it far away from me. Dropped from a 2,5m ladder and so on.
Apart of some scratch and little dent on the edges, i never had a break.
i wear from day one a 9H tempered glass screen protection (which has been damaged by shocks multiple times, preserving the original screen). I equipped the back camera glass with a plastic film (cutting it with scissors and cutter to exactly fit the glass), to prevent scratches. I also added in the last days a thin (about 1/1,5mm) foam bumper around the corners of camera glass, so it will never touch the surfaces.
What i can state is bv9500pro is a very tough phone, but there's no way it can be saved from EVERY shock. Maybe one day you drop it from 30 cm, but the screen falls right on a little piece of sharp stone, and your glass is gone.
You have only 2 weakeness in this phone, front glass and back camera glass: shell them and it will last years. (each time you have to replace a glass you are risking to permanently fu*k the waterproof/dustproof spec, unless you find right materials (as in the post above) and spend enough time repairing it.
This is the glass i use, from gearbest. https://it.gearbest.com/bv9500-pro-_gear/
if you're in europe i really suggest to buy at least the 3pcs pack... the glass is a very good 9H, very tough, sensitive, BUT with no accessory to install it (i use sucker to hand it, and isopropilic alcohol and micro-fiber sheets to clean dirt and dust).
You can find many others on Amazon, or Aliexpress and so on.
For the back camera glass i use a random plastic film (i cut a random one from any phone film)
About the foam: i'm testing confort and durability with a 3M bihadesive (the one for heavy duties) which is about 1mm thick. I cutted it about 1mm wide and placed all around the frame. On the front side of the foam i sticked a little piece of black insulating tape to avoid dirt and dust sticking on it.
I also cutted and sticked a plastic film on the top section of the front screen, right under the top speaker, to reach the protective glass, in order to prevent scratches on the proximity and light sensor and on the front camera glass.
Next time i'm changing the consumables, i'll make a video for you, 'tought the procedure is quite easy.
The whole process to fully shield the phone takes about 30 mins (if you have at least a bit of experience handing these materials)
