Phone completely unstable out of the box.

Purchased this phone a few days ago, and while i absolutely love the battery life the phone has been an unstable mess from the moment i booted it. Apps crashing at random including google, and play services,random rebooting itself into a never ending logo screen. No reply from support in 30 hours. Yesterday saw a review on amazon with same problem made day before i purchased but only became visible after. Don't know if this is a bad batch of hardware or what, but if i don't have some kind of  traction with some form of blackview support in next 24 hours i need to return it.  My mother regularly goes to hospital and i needed this to be the workhorse used for family communication. 

Right now all it is is a liability.     

If this is bad software, if a factory reset will fix it, and support tells me to i will try it. Outside that it has to go back.

You can try to perform a factory reset following this tutorial:

If this can't solve your issue, i suggest you to return the phone to Amazon and get another one ;)

I had to perform a factory reset roughly twice a day for the days following last post.  A temporary solution at best. By the end weird green lines started appearing across the home screen. I have sent it back to amazon, and bought a phone off the highstreet an hour later. My mother gets hospitalised roughly once a month and i couldn't wait for an amazon return and rebuy.  

The phone i bought off the highstreet cost the same price, and is in every way demonstrably inferior to the blackview, save the fact it works.

 There are situations in which i would have tried to get a replacement, but again time is a factor for me due to my circumstances . It took nearly 3 days for support to reply to my initial mail. 3- 4 days for my posts to become visible here. That combined with someone reporting exact same problem the day before i purchased pushed me away from idea of getting another sent out. Maybe it was a bad batch.  I honestly don't know.

When i change my phone again in a year or so will give blackview another look. But would be really reassuring if they could get into something like the Argos catalogue so that sales and returns could be handled locally.

Bad batches exist, you have been a bit unlucky.
I hope yout mother can sort out every illness.
