I am finding that my S6 is muting, turning on speaker mode and performing other actions during a call.
I think that the main problem is that the proximity sensor is at the top left of the phone, which when I am holding the phone in my right hand with the speaker next to my ear, is not being covered enough to turn the screen off. This is especially the case when I am using the phone in daylight.
This is made more complicated because the touch sensor is so sensitive that it often registers a touch while fingers, ears etc. are still a couple of mm away from the screen.
Ideally, I could do with making the proximity sensor more sensitive, or the touch sensor less sensitive.
I have tried going into the *#87# menu, but find that the options written in whichever variant of Chinese is being used a little difficult to understand. I have found the entry for FactoryMode, which allows me to test the P-sensor, and this appears to confirm my thoughts.
I'm reluctant to press buttons at random, because I've already managed to reset the phone by mistake!
Forums on other products on this site suggest that there may be a calibration mode, but I either can't find it, or don't know which sub-menu it is in because I can't read all of the text on the on-screen buttons.
Anybody any ideas? It is not a problem that I had on the A7 that I had previously.
