Bandwidth compatibility issue.

Hello

I live in Peru and recently purchased a BV9000 Pro. I have a SIM card from Bitel, which belongs to the Vietnamese company Viettel. In Peru, they offer 3G (1900MHz) and 4G - B8 (900MHz). The specifications of the phone state that the phone is compatible with LTE B8 (900MHz). When I install the SIM card into the phone, the signal is strong, showing full bars and showing the 4G icon. I can use data just fine... youtube, internet, etc. The strange thing is, I cannot make or receive phone calls. The APN is correct, it has been triple checked by Bitel many times. How is it that I have internet, but cannot make phone calls?? I have tried the only other provider in Peru that is compatible with the phone, Claro, and the phone is able to make calls perfectly. Is there something I have to change in the developer menu or something in order for this phone to work with my provider Bitel?

I have looked through the forum and seen similar problems with other providers... PLEASE don't tell me to take the phone to my provider and check the APN! That has already been done! PLEASE give us a useful answer on this matter as a professional company should.

As you can see here, such phone carrier isn't compatibile for calls, only internet.

Unfortunately we can't help you with that. You'll have to switch to another phone carrier.
