BV8000Pro_blackview_20170908 problems

I would recommend to do NOT UPDATE to BV8000Pro_blackview_20170908.
Right after flash and boot you can see in the bottom left corner boot menu which should be not visible.
Settings application is crashing and can't be started.
MTK logging is by default on and while you play with phone it will send the logs.
I have also tried to run in safe mode, the same happened.

I have clean flash and factory reset/wipe cache.

So if you want to try this rom, backup your phone.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I reported this to our technicians and hope it can be fixed quickly.
I recommend you to flash an older Firmware in the meantime if you prefer that. Backups should be done before every update.

Need help. Customer received phone already updated to 2017803_20170906-1035 from factory.

However, he can only answer the phone if screen is on. If screen has gone black, he cannot answer the phone - waking the screen cuts the incoming call.

Background task clear was set to OFF.

I asked him to turn BTC ON, but it made no difference.

He cannot answer his phone. Suggestions?

Found solution. This particular unit came out of box with Settings>Apps>Phone>Notifications set to silent/do not disturb. This meant incoming calls could not break into lock screen mode.

Try out flashing back to 20170822+factory reset or wait for the next update
