So.... Has anyone tried to upgrade to this firmware?

I tried OTA and its not there yet, I have it downloaded but I dont want to try to update unless I know what its about or have a older version
I current have a spare phone with 20170411 running, so anyone have this for download?

Admin- Would you please be kind enough to tell us if this is Android 6 or 7? and what are the fixes, Many of us have broken phones because of the last firmware you released to the public. So would you please be kind enough to tell us what is new about this and what it fixes?

you dont update it via OTA, either flash it by my guide or use the local updates option

Thanks

It seems that it is needed to rename it to zip instead of gz ... is it right ?
If I leave the file with the gz extension is not seen by the local update ....

Do I need to do a backup before update or, normally, it is safe to do the upgrade ?

EDIT : I have renamed it to zip and the upgrade has been started ; be aware that, at least in my case, the screen was completly black for some minutes ...
At the end I have checked the firmware version .... but it is still the old one .... suggestions ?

EDIT 2 : I have "gunzipped" the file but the tar is not seen .. so i tried to untar it but Winrar is unable to end the process .. I suppose is a path length issue ...
