If you set the time zone correctly, and set to get time from GPS rather than network, my time is 1 hour fast.
if you use an app (such as GPS status) to see the UTC time from the GPS system directly you see that the UTC time is one hour fast.
This is causing me a lot of problems because I use several tracking apps to record my position and time for hang gliding competitions. These all use UTC time.
To be clear - this is nothing to do with time zones, or daylight saving. It is an error in the globally fixed UTC time read from the GPS satellites.
But these were working well before the update from android 6.0
Please advise if there is a fix, or if I should revert to android 6.
Because this phone has pressure sensor, and both satellite position systems and is rugged I recommended this phone to many friends, but I advised them to avoid the android 7 update for now (looks like i am the only one to update so far).
