But there have also not been any questions. Android 7 seems solid for a China ROM.
7.1 would be nice though...

2. go to the settings -> Background task clear -> find your messaging app in the whitelist and check the box. This is not a bug, this is to save battery by not allowing services to run constantly in the background. And this was the case before the update to Android 7.
3. Are you kidding? Installing a new launcher takes 10 seconds. The standard one without an app drawer is impractical anyway. I recommend ADW launcher

Sure, here are all Problems I noticed in 20161216:
  • Biggest issue for me is the not correct working WIFI. Several times a day the internet connection over WIFI stopped working. WIFI stays turned on, it is just not possible to transmit or receive any data. Turning Wifi off and on solves this for the moment but that's not a solution for using a system every day. I had the feeling this issue always happens when I tried to receive several files (pictures on a website, etc.) at ones. It was possible to hear a music stream all the day without problems but when I tried to open some websites, read inside a news-app, or use skype etc. all connections stopped working. Factory reset don't solved this.
  • I encrypted my phone in this version with a pattern and made a backup of my user data in recovery. But when I tried to restore my backup data the phone asked for a password instead of a pattern. After typing my pattern as numbers I got the massage "your password is correct but the backup is corrupt. I tried and reproduced this several times with different new backup files.
  • After encrypting my phone I got a strange bug that the lights of the three soft-buttons never turned off. I solved it with turning pre-boot unlock pattern off and normal unlock pattern on again but that's not like it should be.
  • When the two clocks sett for "automatic turn on/off the phone" but the complete "turn off/on at time" function is disabled the phone correctly don't turn off/on but the times are missing in Battery statistics.
  • Turbo Download mode (WIFI+Mobile Data) is missing
  • Autostart- Management at settings menu "Security" is missing
  • Even with "prevent pocket deal" turned on the quick settings menu get opened in pockets very often and changes all settings. It would be nice if we could turn that menu off for the unlock screen.
  • When "prevent pocket deal" is turned off the phone is anyway using the proximity sensor all the time when the locksreen is turned on.
  • There is an new system app called 网络位置 on the phone. It seems to be a Chinese "Baidu Location service". I know many people who don't want that on their phone.
  • Calibrating Compass in the official compass app stopped working. It was already difficult before but now I can draw figures for hours and it will not say "calibrating ok". Calibrating in google maps seems to be working correct so I guess it's a software bug.
  • I read about many problems other users have with Bluetooth (don't really turn off when turned off, making wifi slow, used bt-connections reconnect again and again). I don't tested this bluetooth things by my own.
  • There is still a strange sound of the camera autofocus in videos and we are also still waiting for a working loudspeaker replacement-part.
  • There are many other reported bugs, that I don't tested by myself

>> The real problem is that it's not secure to just stay on older software versions. The last almost stable version for me is 20161011 but I can not use it forever: There is a security bug in the FOTA Update service app. When I see it right you used a fixed version of this software in 20161216 but for older versions there is this security issue that's already used by attackers. Under 20161011 I already noticed spam banner ads on my lockscreen, shown by the system-update app. Other users reported infection with malware (changed html-viewer), probably submitted over the same security breach. Many users only update over the air and never received 20161025 or newer updates. They don't even know that their system is not secure and think they would have the newest version.

I can confirm the most of these problems.

Especially the most annoying for me is that bluetooth keeps disconnecting and connecting over and over again every minute with my Arctic P311 (I have two of them). It was OK with Android 6.0.

Other unpleasant thing - I use two simcards protected by PIN, after entering PIN for the first sim card, I cannot enter PIN for my second sim, because everything disappears, I have to turn off the screen and turn on again, then I'm allowed to enter PIN.

My colleague, who has the same phone, told me that all problems are solved by factory reset. This necessity of factory reset annoys me very much! I will spend 2 hours with installing and setting everything.
