Did you actually perform a factory reset? You have to confirm it by pressing power button.

You device unfortunately carried a bad hardware fault. It's annoying, but it can happen.

You should contact your seller for a replacement (or a partial refund) under warranty.

Apart from suggesting that, there's nothing more we can do. Sorry.

I never used the original adapter. I charge the phone with some Amazon adapter (5 V/1,8 A) without problems. I can also charge it with any of my power banks. Perhaps your USB-C cable is defective? For example the one that came with my BV8000 Pro can't establish a stable data connection on PC. So I ...
