Re: BV9600 PRO ANDROID 9.0 - HOW TO & "IMPRESSIONS"

I would generally never recommend anyone flash a firmware that hasn't been tested on the phone they are trying to update. As it was previously stated, the upgrade you're trying to install was meant for the newer BV9600 Pro units, that already ship with Android 9, not the original 8.1 based ones, whi...

Re: Discussion about root and modding of BV8000 Pro

There's no way anyone can compile a LineageOS version compatible with this phone unless Blackview release the kernel sources, which they have already said they won't. The stock rom kernel is not compatible unless recompiled and adapted for LineageOS compatibility. I found a firmware, but at this po...

Re: Whats after the Oreo Release?

That statement about Blackview not releasing the source codes, and the secrecy behind it, makes me think Blackview developers are using software they shouldn't be using (i.e. some unlicensed piece of code from third parties) and releasing the code would reveal that. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what...

Re: Full battery. How much time it can run?(gather statistics)

On BV8000, battery life on Android 8 is way worse than on Android 7. That's one of the reasons (but not the only one) I decided to downgrade to Android 7.

Re: Oreo running stable?

I ran Oreo for some time and I definitely didn't find it stable nor bug free. It's a rushed version that should have never been released. It was released way too early and needs huge improvement. Needless to say I downgraded to Android 7, way more stable. I wish we could have further development, bu...

Re: Where to buy Type C to 3.5mm adapter that comes with the BV9000?

I don't think such an adapter will work on BV8000, since the USB-C port must be capable of transmitting sound, and I'm not sure the one on BV8000 does that. In fact, I have one around from another phone that lacked 3,5mm jack and it didn't work. If you need to use wired headphones and can't use the...
