Re: ROM Update to Android 8.0 didn't work

Yeah mate, good luck with that. As far as BV is concerned, this phone is dead.
They won't support it anymore (it lasted what, a year ?) because they're too busy selling a shit ton of "brand new amazing phones".
Their business model just doesn't leave room for software update.

Re: Full battery. How much time it can run?(gather statistics)

It will help. Using only data connection (1 sim, 1 sd card, no wifi/BT), 2 full days (8am-11pm) + part of day (4pm-12pm) + 34% left (20180522 version).

I can't share more details about that with you, as these are classified. i'm sorry, i hope you'll understand. 2) I know and understand what you are saying... but we don't have unlimited resour...

Re: Oreo running stable?

Stable is as relative notion... I've been using an "unstable" release of LineageOS for months now and I find it acceptable (and waaaaay mor stable than pretty much any BV8000 ROM). Hence my answer. No need to react like you did...

Re: Oreo running stable?

It is not unstable (it will work) but it is not bugless (see dedicated Oreo section).
Battery drain is real (30% battery life loss in idle compared to android 7).
Personnal advice: keep the last 7.0 update.

Re: Whats after the Oreo Release?

As I already said,  I was not asking for Oreo, but I was not against it either. And I can't say I had guessed how things would turn, to be honest. But I had hoped that the manufaturer would have offered a good, simple ROM in the following month after release. Now that I'm seeing it didn't and won't...

Re: Whats after the Oreo Release?

What questions am i dodging exactly?  Why won't you release source codes ? AOSP is open source, and additionnaly, it would benefit the users a lot while lightening the workload for your tech team. No drawbacks for BlackView, a huge amount of advantages for both you and the customer. Refusal indicat...

You're right, and it is because you are dodging questions.
