Re: HOW DO I UNROOT MY BLACKVIEW BV6000?

So just to confirm, you want to 'Remove the root' ?
If you rooted the phone using SuperSU then click into the SuperSU icon and remove it's root access.

Re: unwanted Apps in 20180515

Just disable them in your App draw.
If you can root your phone, install root-app deleter to remove them.

Re: Review after 8 months use

I had a similar problem when my cable was faulty.   That was when I was using the original charger and cable. It intermittently speeds up and slows down the charging. That could be the issue.  If not, you may need to replace the usb module in the phone. They're only around $10 so it won't break the ...

Re: OTA update error 20180426

If your phone was rooted, it will not OTA update.
The latest version is flashable!

Re: Rooting not working no matter what

Are you using the 'Smartphone Flash Tool' ? (this is for installing TWRP) If you cannot connect your Blackview to your PC, have you installed the latest MTP drivers ?  Here's the link if you haven't  https://freeandroidroot.com/download-blackview-usb-drivers/ Place the SuperSU zip file on your SD ca...

Re: Review after 8 months use

Chinese smartphones, whilst cheaper than some of the bigger brands, have a few features built into them so that you remain reliant on their equipment, such as the  stock standard BV6000 charger.   This is so they can make money of your dependency on their equipment. This may be why you are getting s...

Re: 20180330 update - Don't forget to Unroot

Now, if any of you were silly enough to try to OTA update without unrooting your phone you will find that you may be stuck with the phone rebooting into TWRP recovery if you have indeed installed it. (This is what I did, for the second time). I thought I would put the below up because I seem to run ...

Re: update 20180312

It hadn't gone through, but I just let this install automatically and now I'm stuck in TWRP and can't get out of it. It just keeps loading to the twrp screen.

Forgot to unroot..

Re: 20180104 update details

My TWRP took two flashes before it worked as well. But it's all good now.
Just got an updated for March 2018, installing it now.

Re: update 20180312

Well on that point, 20180312 may not have gone through.. There's nothing in the 'About phone' details which says that it was updated.
I simply placed the zip on my sd card in the phone and ran a local update. It said it was successful.

Maybe it wasn't.. How can I tell?
